It is a common fault that the drain fails to work in most machines in a period of time and is the most problematic fault in a dish-washing machine. In all occasions it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. If you have noticed that water has leaked then as the drain hose pump/valve and fittings are located on the underside of the machine it is important that you look for possible leaks here. In some cases the drain hose would be clogged at the drain end to outlet of the house and so there will be back flushing resulting in overflow to the outside. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged. Now remove the drain hose clamps and remove the drain pump/valve, clean the drain pump/valve, use back flushing to clear off all dirt. Now test using power to see if this works and can be simulated. When refitting, the hose must be tightened properly. If the pump/valve does not work even with power then it must be replaced. If there is intermittent power to the drain valve/pump then the program controller unit is a suspect.

Finally the washer must be placed with a tilt- use a spirit level- so that all water will drain to the outlet port and thereby there is no residual water remaining.

are you sure you have cleaned all the water outlets as when these get blocked and the water builds up the dishwash will go into a standby mode as a sefety precaution to stop your kitchen getting flooded if it was me i would take off all water outlet pipes and use boiling water and a good cleaning fluid it only takes a little blockage and then it will cut off so clean all pipes through properly and then try again is the water going into the dish washer before it cuts off or is their no water going into it either if you post back ill have a nother look for you hope this is some help i had same prob with mine but it was different brand of washer but after cleaning all pipes inlet and outlet it worked fine and is still working now use good limescale remover cause if you live in hard water area then this is probably you problem .......................................................

Please check if the drain valve is weak/faulty or does not get the votage to open during the cycle , his can be your fault . Also it is important that your observation is most important and so is vital to the identification /rectification and solution. Also the drain pump/valve can be clogged or the drain hose clamps can be loose on the grip which can all cause the leak to occurs. Removing and Cleaning the drain pump/valve, tightening of the hose is also very important. Also water can leak if there is gaps on the front door gaskets and must be checked but this will happen only during the cycle and not on the drain cycle end.

Dishwater not fully exspeeling from dishwaser

If nothing obvious like blocked / obstructed outlet pipe
You need to check if the outlet pump motor in line with the outlet hose is spinning when in the outlet mode. First check if it is spinning by looking at it and see if the small fan is spinning FREELY. If it is turnning this means that it has power and the internal "impeler" that pushes the water out has become loose. Remove the pump (easy job) and repair. If it does not spin you need to determine if the 2 push on terminals have power on. If there is voltage and the motor does nut spin this indicates that the pump motor is open circuit and must be replaced.

Water staying at the bottom of the washer. When i close the washer an press start the inlet/drain light comes on and nothing else happens.Miele G 692 SC PLUS

Your drain outlet is blocked , pull all the filters out and then check nothing is stopping the impeller from turning. You have to bucket out all the water first of course. It can be a toothpick or just some gunk,

My dishwasher worked fine one time and the next nothing. It acts like there is no power but it is plugged in and the outlet has juice. What could be wrong? I'm not sure what the model number is.

This is normaly caused by amount of water on the floor of the washer that activates the ANTI FLOOD system of the machine. This will cause the outlet pump to be on and onthing else works. Tillting the machine to one side could and checking if water flows to the floor normaly clears the problem BUT if there is a leak one must first rectiefy the leak before it works again.

Aeg dishwasher will not drain

The washer has a drain motor in line with the outlet pipe. The motor must turn when in outlet mode. This motor has an impeler that turns at high speed to pump out water in the outlet mode. The motor could be faulty or the lelectrical push on connectors to the motor loose. One can remove the motor and coonect it directly to the mains voltage for a few seconds to check if it spins (also make sure that nothing is blocking the impeler from spinning).

Won't drain

Hi,
Please follow the steps provided bellow :
Fill washer with water and wait for the timer to get to the drain mode.
Unplug the washer from the electric outlet.
Open the case, and disconnect the water hose from the outlet of the water pump.
If you get water pouring out from the pump, then plug that up and check the hose to the sewer. If that is clogged, then you have found the problem.
Some washers have a self cleaning filter in that hose somewhere. Check that to be sure it is working properly.
Reassemble hose from step 3.
Plug washer back in. If it pumps out now, then you are done. If it doesn't, then the water pump is probably defective, so replace it.
Reassemble washing machine case...you're done...

Tilt your dishwasher forwards. Be aware that water will come out ouf the bottom. Once this is clear your washer should be Ok.
Good Luck
