No status light

Hi, I have a paradyne wireless router model 6388-A1-200 and its been working fine until 2 days ago the status light just went off and now its not coming on at all. I only see the power light, the link light and the LAN light. I spoke to my ISP and they said that there is definitely a problem with the router so hopefully one of you guys could be of better help.

On your connection LAN icon that normally sits at the bottem right hand corner, Right Click on it and select "Repair"

That should do the trick.

Click on "start" then "run" type: net stop dhcp Click OK then do the same but type: net start dhcp

If all the above fails, power off the router and pc.
allow 5 minites, then turn on the router, allow a minute then switch on the PC.

If this fails. Try chaning the RJ45 ethernet cable (if your using on) or using a static IP address.

Basically you have a DHCP problem and that is why your connection is showing as limited.
Router as a service running called DHCP Server and your PC has a service called DHCP Client, one of these services has stopped working.
