You can't because it's designed for a laptop. Unless you have a PCI card with the slot that can accept the wireless card.

Cant log in to wg302

you could try a hard reset, back to factory defaults: find the recessed Reset button on the rear of the WG302. use a straightened-out paper clip to push and hold the button for three seconds or more. this will reset the WG302 back to its default IP address of 192.168.0.228, and the login to username: "admin", password: "password" - don't type the quotes.
remember that you'll need to assign a static IP address to the PC you're using, such as 192.168.0.100, subnet mask: 255.255.255.0 - and to change it back to its previous setting once you're done setting up the WG302.

What is the correct way of removing a Netgear WG511 Wireless card (for safe transport) without causing connection problems next time you insert it?

Use the Safely remove hardware Icon in the notification area to stop the device then use the button on the PCMCIA slot to eject it.

54 mbps PCI Adapter Card limits my connection to 2 mbps

Wi if is the slowest form of connection and is shared with other devices. If you want good bandwidth you need to connect via ethernet cable directly to the router.
Examlpe... wi if 4 meg shared, Ethernet 100 meg..
good luck !

Netgear

A good router to get with these would be a netgear WPN824 router. This is probably the best solution for you and has plenty of power. With it/ you will get an installation CD to help you. For further help with the installation, simply send me a message.

Wireless crd

Hi alioops, unless you're using a laptop with the FS7600, normally you can't use or install the netgear wireless pc card (WG511;PCMCIA Card) to a regular desktop computer. If however, you're using a laptop, then you have to find a narrow rectangular slot normally at the side of the laptop with flip or hinge cover. Merely pushing in the Netgear Wirteless PC Card into the said slot would physically install it. Of course, it has to fit snugly and perfectly in order to work. Further you may have to install the drivers that are in a CD that comes with the card. Hopes this works for you. Pls post again how things turn up. Kind regards.
