My pictures are very blurry.. We have reset to the default settings but the pictures are still coming out blurry... This was not a problem before as we have had clear pictures. What do you think the problem is and/or how do you fix it? Thank you.

The auto-focus might be bad. Set to manual focus and see if that works. If not, then the focus motor is slipping or the motor itself is bad and cannot focus the lens properly.

Please go to Setup menu and select Initialize option to reset camera to default settings that might solve blurry picture problem, if that does not help then its technician job to adjust focus of camera.

Pictures are blurry and wavy

This must be a problem of the lens. Replacing the light focusing lens will surely help.

Blurry pictures

When operating any digital camera, the camera tries to capture the best focus and exposure for that particular scene. By pressing the shutter button half-way down, the focus and exposure is being set. There will be a green circle on the upper left hand corner of the screen, then your camera is ready to take the picture. Slowly depress the shutter the rest of the way down to take the picture.

Also try to reset the camera back to factory defaults as there could be a setting that is causing the images to be blurry. To reset the camera - have the camera in shooting mode - go to Menu - left arrow to reset and press ok. Highlight yes and press ok. This will reset the camera back to factory settings. See if this clears up the blurry images.

Blurry Photos

You should be able to go to the Menu and look for Default settings for the camera. Click on default settings. That resets all settings back to the way it was when you purchased it.

Blurry pictures

First try to put the camera dial on the P mode setting and then press ok - right arrow to Mode Menu - down arrow to setup tab - then right arrow to All Reset and then right arrow to make sure it is set to On. Then power the camera off and then back on. The camera should then be in factory defaulted settings. Try taking an image in P mode and seeing how it turns out. If it is still blurry you may want to call Olympus technical support to further troubleshoot your issue. Their telephone number is 888-553-4448 option 5 and then option 1.

Pictures too white and blurry

If the photo shoot out show white , the obscure (quality variation), and even horizontal line ( white lines), and so on over-exposure cases, even if the use of anti-tremor, set to default values are invalid, because the camera shutter fault.

It's need repair camera machine shutter.
