Question about Windchaser CWH88L Ceramic Baseboard Heater

Open Question

Windchaser fan Hi, I lost the remote control to our Windchaser stand fan. When I tried to turn it on manually, it was stuck in "standby" and would not work. If I had the remote, would it turn on and if so how could I get a replacement? Is there some other way to fix the problem. Thanks.

I have the same problem, and from what I'm reading on the web, so do other people. I have an FTR-184 floor fan and it is stuck. I have the remote and it doesn't help. I have emailed and called Windchaser many times with no response, whatsoever. (I would almost start to think that this is a built in issue to make you buy another). I will never buy another Windchaser, and I will list my opinion on epinions just to help others. Their customer service is useless. If anyone has a fix I would be happy to know.

I have a Rheem Classic Super Quiet 80 gas furnace (for heat). The fan stops when the "heat" turns on.

Any time I ever had trouble, first thing to suspect is the thermostat.
They lose contact sometimes and sometimes you tap the face and they work til next glitch.
If the thermostat has some years on it,go ahead and replace it.
Can't you just leave the heat and fan in auto? That would be best,I think. don-ohio

Honeywell portable heater HCE322V manual

Honeywell has the manual for the HCE322V ceramic tower heater on the product page: http://www.honeywellstore.com/store/products/digital-ceramic-tower-heater-hce322v.htm . Click on the Manuals tab. The direct link to the manual is http://www.honeywellstore.com/store/images/pdf/HCE311-HCE322-HCE323-honeywell-heater-manual.pdf .

I hope this helps. Note: the manual covers a few different models. You should ignore any section about the HCE323; that model has a remote and a few other extras.

We have royal red furnace to heat our home. The fan dose not stop.

Details.......does the furnace function normally otherwise? Might just be a stuck fan switch. Make sure the thermostat hasn't been set on Fan ON setting or summer air circ. on older furnaces.
Find the fan switch and tap it and see if fan quits. If it does, fan switch is bad.probably. Always make sure your air circ. filter(return air to furnace) is replaced every 3 mo. or so,too. don-ohio (:^)

I have a Coleman Evcon electric furnace, the blower fan runs constantly and I have to shut the breaker off inside the front cover to turn it off. The switch is on auto and it runs even when the thermostat...

It could be a thermostat problem. Also it will seem to run constantly as it tries to heat and one of the elements are working which could be a sequencer problem.
