First thing to check is if you are using component video input, try another set of cables. Sometimes the y or Pb or Pr connections not making a good connection will cause loss of a color. Try another input is another way to check this. On a few earlier models like this I have seen a weak crt cause this. In which case you can rejuvinate it or adjust the color drives and bias located in service menu, but don't change the values if you're not posative it is the right solution for your problem. Hope it's something simple on this one, Russmann.

My Hitachi 65F59 has a very low green level. If I set the tint all the way on Green, I see some small amounts of green spots on scenes, but scenes which should be completely green are mostly a beige ugly...

SUGGESTIONS TO RESOLVE WHERE THE PROBLEM IS:

1. GO TO A BLACK AND WHITE CHANNEL OR PROGRAM AND TURN THE COLOR IN THE CUSTOMER MENU ALL THE WAY DOWN.

IS THE PICTURE BLACK AND WHITE OR REDDISH ETC?

iF THIS IS THE CASE I CAN TELL YOU HOW TO ADJUST THE SET MANUALLY--NOT WITH THE REMOTE BUT IN A DIFFERENT WAY.

I am here to help people and if this helps you rate this solution as very helpful as I do this here for free.

Make the check to see if you have a BW picture or not, if not respond and I will tell you how to adjust---it will take about ten minutes to do it.

My 48 inch jvc tv has a green color to it what can this be and how can i get it fixed

Okay so the green color that you see on the screen is because the coolant inside of the green picture tube is gone bad (it suppose to be cristal clear but now it is brownish and that makes the green color run all over the screen.) That just happens over time and I'm guessing the picture tubes have never been serviced. Now you got two choices
1- The easiest and fastest way would be to take it to a local repair shop and have them service the coolants of your picture tubes. I'm guessing it would run you about $165 or so to get them done (the three of them red, green and blue)
2-On the other hand you can do it yourself. It is not hard at all but it does require a lot of attention.

After the picture tubes have been serviced you'll notice the big difference.
You'll actually have a much brighter and sharper picture just like when it was new.

Let me know if you decide you want to do it yourself so i can post the instructions for you.

Canon i860 won't print deep colors

I had similar problem: everything muted and with brownish tint. Tried everything, finally discovered that I installed wrong cartridge: 6PC instead of 6C. The "photo" cartridges are pretty much the same, make sure you have the right ones: 6C, 6M, and 6Y.

White colors schemes seem off white color or brownish color and blue has green tint or baby blue color. .

Check the coolant in all three crt's as chances are it is contaminated (should be crystal clear). If brown (beer color), replace coolant in all three crt's and perform convergence adjust. Picture should be like new!!!

Good Luck!!!

Your problem most likely is on the signal board is my guess. If your not a technician it would be in your best interest to have him check L2C60 on the signal board.
