Question about Kingston Technologies 512MB DataTraveler I (DTI512KR) Hard Drive
Unfortunately there is no real miracle cure here.. flash memory is very volatile and is susceptible to corruption.
However you may still have a chance, it could be just how it is interacting with your computer. Try the drive on a friends computer, other computer you have, work computer... something else to be sure, hopefully it will pull up and display the files. I'd say there is a good chance of it working actually.
Give it a try and let me know, just reply to my answer here and we can try other things as well, but if it won't pull up anywhere it is very grim. It's always best to have at least two copies of important files, even the most secure device can become damaged, lost, stolen...
