If you can take it off the wall. there are holes that screws are going to go into. if the screws are not all there, then there will be noices and vibration.

Turn off your power, remover both the upper and lower doors. You may have to disconnect some ''molex' plug connectors and you may have to remove some thermostat wires to gain access. If you remove any wires, WRITE them down as to what terminals they go back on. The molded plugs can only go on one way so don't be too concerned about their replacement UNLESS they are individual plastic plug ins for each wire. If so...WRITE down the location and proceed.

There should be either 5/16" or 1/4" headed screws securing the blower assembly in place. The assembly itself is probably slid into position on sheet metal rails or into slots. When the proper two (usually) screws are removed, it will merely slide out the front of the furnace.

Place it on the ground and look into the side of the assembly OPPOSITE of the motor. In there you will find a 5/16" square headed set screw. Remove that screw because it secures the blower wheel to the blower motor shaft. Clean rust, dirt and debris off the exposed shaft because that will inhibit the sliding of the shaft OUT of the wheels hub. Turn it over to the motor side up. There will be three bolts or scews securing the blower motor to the blower housing by means of a three legged 'spyder' mount. Remove them and work the motor and shaft OUT OF the blower wheel hub.

You are now home free... the motor is removed. Reinstall in basically reverse of the removal procedure. Hopefully you have an IDENTICAL replacement, so there will be no wiring adaptions to figure out.

Where to fix float in collection tank

Hey Val, inserting the float is quite easy. Turn the tank so the flat side of the tank is facing you. Where it says, "Fill with Clean Water to here", there is a groove on the inside of the tank just behind the writing. Slide the rattle sounding weighted end of the float vertically into the groove. The float will only fit in one way.

The fan motor only works on high speed # 5 setting

You likely have a bad blower motor resistor. The resistor is located under the passenger side of the dash near the blower motor. Make sure you als check the connector for signs of burnt or discolored pins. Check out my fixya.com tip on blower motors not working. http://www.fixya.com/cars/r6571076-blower_motor_not_work

Anybody know how to enable the AGP slot on an IBM NetVista 8305? Thanks.

    1.
Shut down your computer and reboot to the BIOS. Reach the BIOS by pressing the Access IBM button on your keyboard or by pressing the F11 key.
    2.
Use the arrow keys to scroll though the options to locate the video VGA graphic chip set. Follow the onscreen instructions to save the new BIOS settings.
    3.
Turn off the machine after the BIOS settings have been saved. Unplug the power cord from the electrical socket.
    4.
Open the side access panel of the Net Vista. On some models the panel will slide off; on others you may have to loosen the two thumbscrews holding it in place. If you have a desktop configuration instead of a tower, slide the top cover off the machine.
    5.
Remove the existing AGP graphics card from the machine. You may need to use a screwdriver to remove the screw holding the card in place.
    6.
Locate the proper slot for the new card. The new card may use the same AGP slot or use a PCI slot. If necessary, remove the dust cover for the selected slot with a screwdriver.
    7.
Slide the new card into the slot. Screw the holding screw into place if the card requires one.
    8.
Plug your monitor into the connection on the card. Plug the machine into the power source and turn the Net Vista on. Follow the onscreen instructions for installing the proper drivers if needed by your operating system. Replace the side panel when everything is working properly

Please rate me if this solution works for you

    Thanks......Have a great time.

Km900mah short freeze cyles and small cresent cubes, also need the correct dip switch settings as they are not listed for this model thanks

In most cases, when you have the problems you are having, it is because the float switch is not set properly. On most machines, it's located in the front of the machine, just behind the front cover, next to the water pump. It is usually white with a black boot on the bottom. There should be 2 screws holding it. You can loosen the screws and slide the float switch all the way down to the bottom of the slots and then tighten them back. This will lengthen the freeze cycle and the cubes will become larger.
Your Model number is not in any of my manuals and the Hoshi tech site has no such model listed. Please check you model number. Can not get you dip switch settings if we don't know the machine you have. Plus Hoshi has changed their board several times. We would have to determine if yours has been changed, and if so, to which one.
    Hope this helps you.

Dryer runs but does not heat

I have just had a similar problem and fixed it today.
The "Empty Water" light was staying on and no heat was given out to dry the load.
I found it to be the float switch in the condenser unit at the back left. It had stuck with fluff and debris. I cleaned out the condenser reservoir and the polystrene float and now all is well.
To get to this unit you must first,
Take of the top and the left hand side panel.
Locate the 2 locking tabs that hold the top half of the condenser onto the back panel and release this part.
Remove this by releasing 2 further tabs that hold it to it's bottom half,
and you will see the float switch assembly on the left hand side.
Clean out the condenser reservoir of any water and aslo clean the polystyrene float, it needs to be free to slide up and down between the plastic guides.
    Hope this helps.

    Dishwasher not filling

there is a small float and micro switch behind the LHS cover which if activated will stop the water flow. you will need to remove the top cover(dont forget to unplug from the mains first !). then remove the side cover, you should find a clear plastic unit with a red float in side this maybe gumed up with scale. if so you should clean to allow the float to be free. this float activates a micro switch via a red arm. if this switch is stuck in this will stop the water flow. or the switch maybe faulty.
