Do you still have the owners manual for the Denon AVR 2500? I just purchase one off of craigslist.org and could use some assistance.
Thanks,
Steve

Check if the antenna is connected right. I assume it is FM. If AM and SW there are different antennas. Make sure the ends of the antenna connecting to the receiver unit is stripped. Best of luck

No sound from internet radio

I assume you have connected your amplifier to your local area network so that you can access internet radio. If not, you need to connect the RJ45 ethernet port to your router, then log on to your router to confirm that the receiver is connected as a client. I have done this with my Denon receiver and it works perfectly. Please feel free to ask if you need further assistance. Cheers, Don.

Pandora radio stopped working on my denon 1713

direct from Denons website "

Why can't I access Pandora on my Denon networked product?

Please be advised that Pandora has recently altered certain connection requirements which have temporarily blocked our products from connecting to the Pandora service. Our Engineering Dept. is currently working hard to correct this and will have a firmware update available as soon as possible via the internet to resolve this issue. This should not affect your product's ability to receive other music streaming services. Please visit our website for firmware update schedule information after December 6th.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience that Pandora's alteration has caused.

I have a Harmon Kardon AVR2500, i want to connect my LP to the AMP, how is this done? Will there be variation in the sound out put.

Yes! there will, if the AVR2500 does not have phono inputs, the output sound will be barely there even at high volume. The solution is to find a phono preamp, Radio Shack use to sell them years ago. I suggest you try www.ebay.com and type phono preamp.

Check on the back of the unit for a switch marked "channel step" or something similar.Usually close to the anntena socket or connection. When you find it switch it to the alternative position. This should solve your problem.

Denon AVR 2807 with Bose Acoustimass 15

Well,i can tell you are not very focus, cause you posted Denon AVR-2807 with Bose AC 15 problem, but under your details, you put down AVR-5807!
First of all,it is so unfortunate that you are NOT able to gain and experience to true ability in sound for this wonderful receiver when you are using a dual tweeters speakers and expect to have good sound separation as a TWO WAY speakers(a tweeter and a midrange-for true high frequency and mid frequency sound separation.)
Secondly, you have defeated the audio configuration of the Denon AVR-2807,since all your speakers are control BY the Bose subwoofer.
Now,i could show you a way to hook this up,and it doesn't matter how you connect them, they are the "bicycle tires" installed with a "Porche"engine if you know what i mean.
If you want a good recommendation for your "beast",i will more than happy to show you the way!
Cheers,

I have a sansui receiver 9900z with a broken antena,I think. The broken part was connected to the rear near the antena connectors. I am not sure if this is suppose to ba a antena or not? The set plays well...

The back of the receiver should be marked for FM and AM antenna connections.
Usually the FM antenna needs at least a dipole antenna or a "T" antenna. The part that broke off is probably just the AM antenna.
If you go to your local Radio Shack, you can get a cheap AM/FM antenna for under 20.00. (probably under 10.00)
After hooking up an antenna, you should be good to go.

I hope this helps.
Good luck.

What is the right rs232 cable to connect a Denon 3808CI reciever and a Phillips RFX9600 serial extender

OK LOOKING AT THE SPECS FOR THE EXTENDER YOU DO NOT NEED TO WORRY ABOUT THE SERIAL CONNECTIONS, WHEN USING THE SERIAL CONNECTIONS YOU NEED RS232 CODE STRINGS TO CONTROL THE DENON OR ANYOTHER DEVICE THROUGH THIS EXTENDER USING THE RS232 CONNECTIONS.
IT LOOKS LIKE YOU CONNECT AN I/R EMITTER FROM AN MINI JACK I/R CONTROL PORT ON THE BACK AND THE OTHER END TO THE I/R WINDOW ON THE DENON

Radio

You should be able to use any antena you wish. It uses a standard 75 ohm coaxial input. Any stereo shop should have antennas ranging from $5 to $100. Was that the only set-up problem?
