Question about 3Com OfficeConnect ISDN Lan Modem Router

Open Question

I have 3CP3468A ISDN Pro TA modem installed on windows 2000 server and all is run. I would like to migrate to Windows 2008 server x 64 So I have configured a Windows 2008 PC and I have installed the same ISDN Pro TA modem . After modem configuration the incoming connection fail but the call is run. To check the incoming connection configuration on windows 2008, I test that using PSTN modem and all is run. Now I believe It is a driver bug. How can I resolve the problem? Note: the modem driver is embedded in O.S Windows 2008. Thanks Paolo Meliga

try using predefined IP addresses. Let each pc make it's own IP address and see if the conflicts continue, if they do, post again. :)

Its possible you've set your faxes to send in FINE resolution (200 dpi), I am not sure about MS Fax, but in WinFax you can select both Standard Resolution and Fine resolution as the default for sending faxes.

there are other peripherals that conflicts with this modem. try to plug this usb modem alone without other peripherals connected and check. if the problem persists then the modem itself has a problem

Need to get to OS on Dell servers. Password protected

If they are Dell they likely have the licence key sticker on them.
Get a Windows server 2000 CD(you can download it and it will be legal if you instal it with a purchased licence key.) and perform a clean install of it using the licence key on the sticker of each server.

Go to the below link, You have all what is needed to upgrade your OS to Windows Server 2003, You have the migration tools download link on this page, select the migration tool depending on Whether you are using Active Directory or Local Users. Ready the Guide carefully. Before you do anything first plan what you are going to do and then execute the plan step by step. Upgrading is not just like that. Because you might get problems later.
