Question about Frigidaire FWT449
I replaced the drain pump on my washer with a redesigned pump (original design no longer available according to various sources) due to debris ($3.75 in change) getting sucked in it and breaking off the impeller vanes, but now the timer runs to the end of the wash cycle, drains the tub and just stops and buzzes, won't advance into rinse cycle. Did I miss something in the pump replacement or do I now have a bad timer?? Any help is Greatly appreciated!

Welcome to FixYa
draining completely problem usually occurs due to clogged/blocked drain hose or
the drain pump not working. First try to clean the drain hose and drain pump
filter for any clogs, then check drain pump operation. If the problem returns
after cleaning then it is the drain pump that needs replacement. Please get
back to me if you have any other questions.
