The camera usually remembers the last settings that were saved. Do you mean that it is reverting to factory settings each time you turn it on?

This is what the Casio support site has to say:

    The
camera does not have a separate battery for the clock. If the date and
time setting screen appear when you turn on the camera, it means that
battery power was cut off for about 30 hours, which causes the date and
time settings to be cleared. Reconfigure the settings.

This means that if you have not used the camera for 30 hours or more, you will have to reconfigure the settings..This is not a serious issue, and is the nature of the camera itself. Nothing to worry about.

Hope that helps. If you found the solution helpful, kindly take a moment to "Accept" my solution.

Should you have any further queries, please feel free to post back, and I will assist you as best I can. Thanks!

Factory reset

There is no such thing as a factory reset with Nikon cameras. The greatest reset (restore costume settings) you can get is in the Custom settings menu.
The first line in that menu is Reset custom settings. If you use that, it will reset more settings, that with the green button restore. It won't involve or switch back switches you have put from AF to M, on the camera body or on the lens.
If your camera does not show and ERR on the Control panel, it is not likely your lans has any problem.
Refer to the manual, to see how you should put all the switches on the camera if you are not sure you did something wrong.

in most of digital cameras there is a small rechargable battery or a capacitor bank used to store settings in memory for few minutes. if that battery is dead it cant hold settigns at memory.

Is the wireless router switched on, can other devices connect to it? If so try resetting network settings by selecting
Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
Note: This will reset all network settings, including passwords

After this try to join the network again

I have a sony cybershot dsc-f707 Icant zoom in or out only after I take a picture. I also wanted to know if I need to charge the lense to zoom?

Option 1:

Reset the Camera and check if it helps to resolve the issue.(Resetting the Camera will reset the settings of the Camera to the factory settings including date and time. It will not delete any data saved in the Camera).

The RESET button is located inside the battery/ Memory Stick cover. The Camera should be switched ON when you reset the unit. Press the RESET button using a sharp-pointed object.

Option 2:

If issue persists try Power reset the Camera by removing the battery from the Camera and inserting it after 1 minute.

Use a fully charged Battery in the Camera so that the Zoom function work normally.

Problem with my samsung SGH-j600 phone

try giving "master reset" option (restore factory settings)
due to some sudden removal of the battery when the cell is on or due to the sudden poweroff of the cell due to low battery it has cause some firmware files to be missing which are needed for the operation .... so just give the master reset option your cell will get reseted & your problem will be solved ...
while giving reset option you must enter the password (security code) ... the default one may be "full of zeros" or 1234 something like that ...
if you have changed that you will be knowing just give that ...

any doubts reply me
i am always here to assist you .
thank you
bye

Camera time and date

Every time I use my camera after leaving it for 24hours I need to reset time date. Camera will not start until updated. I have a similar but intermittent problem - sometimes when restarting the camera it starts up but with all the default settings - I have to reset the time and the user 1 and 2 settings etc. I suspect that like many other cameras there is an internal battery that needs to be replaced after a couple of years - I'm going to bring it to a local repair place and have them run a diagnostic. If I get and answer I'll let you know. If anyone else has a possible solution let us know . Thanx
