Question about Belkin (F5D5231-4) Router
I have a Belkin N1 wireless router for my LAN and wireless network with 2 laptops connected & working fine.
However I cannot get my UTSTAR WIFI phone to recognise the router as an access point . I accessed the router settings and removed all security temporarily making it an open AP and still it didnt connect.
ANY other suggestions?
The router is not configured by default as an access point.
to use the phone the router must be configured as an access point, which is more than disabling security, nat and dhcp must be removed..
page 53 of the user manual describes the proceedure.
online the manual is here

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
