Try to download Malwarebytes on another pc and burn it on cd and install on this computer. Since you said no disk drive not sure does this include CD drive and if so you can pick up removable Tumbdrive from any store(like walmart, bestbuy) for about $10 and use this to put the saved file on. It is same as cd installation. Run this software and this will clean up most viruses and spyware issues. You can get up to i believe 24GB-32GB removable tumbdrive which should be enough to back up everything you have. Just open your MyComputer and copy and paste all the info in to removable drive that you wish to backup. If you have issues with computer use because of spyware you can boot in to safe mode and do it from there. Restart your pc and when screen turns black keep on pressing F8 key until you get screen that says advanced start up menu and choose safe mode and choose ether your name from users if there is an option or choose Administrator. Some times it will ask for password but you can most times just leave it blank. Once in safe mode it is same process for backup.

Cant remember my log on password for my asus laptop whats the master reset password?

There is no such thing as a master over write password.
You can remove or change the Window's User or administrator's password. You need access to a computer with Internet access to download the Hiren's Boot CD and burn it onto a CD. Then insert this CD into the laptop/computer and boot up the laptop/computer with the Hiren's CD and follow the instructions. There are very useful utilities CD and it a Linux boot CD which contains quite a lot of Utility programs including a password removal program. It is so slow to surf in internet

Clean up disk errors (Run once a week)

Whenever a program crashes, or you experience some power outage, your computer may create errors on your computer's hard disk. Over time, the errors can slow your computer. Luckily, the Windows operating system includes a Disk Check program to check and clean any errors on your computer and keep it running smoothly.

Remove temporary files (Run once a week)
Your computer can pick up and store temporary files when you're looking at Web pages and even when you're working on files in programs, such as Microsoft Word. Over time, these files will slow your computer's performance. You can use the Windows Disk Cleanup screen to rid your computer of these deadbeat files.

Rearrange your data (Run once a month)
Don't be shocked, but your computer can get sloppy. Your computer often breaks files side by side to increase the speed of access and retrieval. However, as files are updated, your computer saves these updates on the largest space available on the hard drive, often found far away from the other adjacent sectors of the file.

Make Internet Explorer run faster
The Web is a sparkling achievement of modern society. It's everywhere-from the home to the classroom. We use it to communicate, to work, to play-even to waste time when there's nothing else to do.

Automate Microsoft Update (Configure once)
Microsoft works constantly to release updates to Windows and other Microsoft products, including Office. At Microsoft Update, you can find and install all these updates-not just the critical ones. Often, these updates will improve your computer's performance.

Install antivirus and antispyware programs
Computer viruses and spyware (hidden software that gathers information about you without your knowledge or consent when you're using a computer) both reduce system performance. Computer viruses can not only reduce performance, but they can also destroy data. Any computer that accesses the Internet should have antivirus and antispyware programs installed.

How to download asus sound drivers from internet for windows xp service pack2

Here is the web page for ASUS drivers for your computer. There are no special sound drivers for XP SP2.
You need to download the drivers. I recommend putting the drivers in their own separate folder.
Each driver file needs to be decompressed with Win Zip or a similar program or Win XP itself. Decompress into the same folder.
Select the setup file for the driver and 'run' it.

When you installed the cam an OEM program was loaded at least for access to settings. Changing your laptop does nothing to prevent that program. My Philips webcam has a little program called VLounge that enables me to turn it on or off. If that program, which may only be considered a 'process' by Windows prevents me from using the webcam with Microsoft, Adobe or Cyberlink video programs. If you really can't find anything else running then uninstall the webcam and pay attention to what is being installed when you reinstall it.
