Question about Eclipse CD5405
I have a eclipse CD5405 that is locked up because the battery got disconnected. I would liked to know how to fix this problem. The stereo did not come with the car I had it put in but dont have a code. At the time I remember the person who had installed it said something about if it were to lock up a song from the very first CD played in it would be required and I dont remember which song that was but have you ever heard of anything like that?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

SOURCE: stereo lock up
Yes, there probably is a hack to unlock your stereo and reset with a new CD you can put in a wrapper and tape to the inside of you vehicle above the stereo should this happen again.
Me I would suggest you discuss this with one of our real audio techs such as Robotek. You can tell him I sent you.
In your address bar copy and paste the below address and then click on the Ask Me button below his photo.
Regards and good luck,
