You want to download and install the first one "HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers" under the "Drivers" section.

Yours is not compatiable with vista
you will need drivers for making it work

when you click on "HP Photosmart Full Feature Software and Drivers" you will be diverted to a page which i had mentioned on my first link.
and note my second link.
it directly links you to the operating system selection from where driver can be downloaded.
