If I knew what a "pin" looked like, I would be able to set the Model 59200 timer that I purchased just this morning (actually I purchased two). The instructions seem to assume that people are...

Woods 59200 has segments located around edge of timer dial, and Woods 59201 has pins.
Some manuals say pins, when they mean segments, and some manuals call segments pins.
Pins:

The following link tries to sort out the pin-segment issue with illustrations:

My camera is a older easyshare CX7530, I've never been able to set the timer to take a picture,is there a easy way to do it , I can't find my manual.

In any still mode, press the self-timer button (marked with a one=handed clock). Start the self-timer by pressing the shutter release button.

You can view the manual online at

The self-timer is in the "Putting yourself in the picture" section.

EASY WAY TO TAKE SELF PICTURES

1) Ask someone to take it for you.

2) Set up the camera on a level surface, position it where you expect you to be. Set up the self timer, press the trigger and quickly hop into the spot your about to take a picture of.

3) Turn the camera around, point the lens at yourself and press, probably need a few goes at this, because you can't see what you're taking a picture of.

I'd go for option 1.

Does camera have timer

Putting Yourself in the Picture The Self Timer creates a 10-second delay between the time you press the Shutter button and the time the picture is taken. 1 Place the camera on a flat surface or use a tripod. 2 In any Still mode, press the Self Timer button. The Self Timer icon appears in the status area. 3 Compose the scene. Then press the Shutter button half-way and hold to set the exposure and focus, then press the rest of the way down. Move so that you are in the scene. The Self Timer light blinks slowly for 8 seconds (then quickly for 2 seconds) before the picture is taken. The camera "clicks" when the picture is captured. To turn off the shutter sound, see page 64. The Self Timer turns off after you take the picture or if you change modes. To cancel the Self Timer before the picture is taken, press the Self Timer button. (The Self Timer setting remains active.) To turn off the Self Timer, press the Self Timer button twice.
