Completely dead, receiving power. Is there a fuse?

head lamps dead keyon and off
engines dead./"
battery dead? jump starts fail> what?
if battery is 12.6vdc now, it is ok if head lamps work( most times)
starter dead is fix me first event, NOT TOLD. yet.

all fuses must be good first, or go broke fast buying $2000 car computers not NEEDED.

a tech first asks their selves, is this direct drive accessorizes or BCM braian run, as most are that year.

cluster dead if first, and the cluster and PCM and PCM fuses all must be good.
The cluster LCD ODOMETER dead means no power or no comms to the pCM
There are 6 fuse just to power the CLUSTER brain,..
and IG1 relay too.
IG1 dead kills turns.
there are 2 fuse boxs
IG1 fuse
CIG fuse
and GAUGE fuse.
check all fuses.
this car uses a network called CAN_BUS
if any computer fails (or fuse blow) this can kill comms on the can b buss, and renders the ODOMETER dead, (LCD)
the scan tool will show huge errors on this car, scan it and learn.

Completely dead indicates power supply malfunction. Check your power cord, fuses and wall socket. Anyway the machine has very limited scope for use in future

If it is plugged in to a working outlet, and the AC cord is not broken, there is a problem in the power supply of the receiver. This provides all of the DC voltages that make all functions work. If it is completely dead, the display, the lights, the audio, (everything) is not working; and it is not likely there are separate problems in all of these areas at the same time.

Completely dead with nothing suggests maybe a blown or open fuse--first step would be to unplug and look for a fuse--follow the power cord.

If the protection is lit up, it is the audio output stage that is compromised, first! check there are no shorts in the speaker wires. Now if the receiver is completely dead, the power transformer is open, "usually the primary"

Did you check all of the fuses in your fuse boxes? That radio requires two power sources in order to work.

check the fuse make sure its not blown if it has a battery make sure the battery is not replace both.

the power supply has burned out, this is the most common failure in all receiver's, I never recommend repiring, the cost to repair is about $200.00 on average last time got one fixed, you can replace it with a new one if u watch the sales for less and the new receiver will be a far better unit with many improved functions and added features.

If there is no external fuse at the back panel, then there must be an internal fuse. I assume you tried another outlet in your home.
