PUK stands for Personal Unblocking Key. This is a unique eight-digit code specific to your SIM card. This is required when the PIN number to unlock your mobile phone is entered incorrectly 3 times. You are then given 10 attempts to enter your PUK code. These directions are for an AT and T phone, but other than that, are the same for any carrier. This is beacuse you have typed in incorrect pin for the SIM security password. So please contact your network provider through any of your friends number and get the PUK code. This is the only way to get the PUK code.

you take the sim card out from the phone, the phone will work with
another sim card.
The puk comes up when the pin code has been
entered wrong 3 times. To get the puk code for your sim card, you have
to call the service provider of that sim card. They are the only ones
who can provide you with the right puk code for that sim card.
When you enter a wrong Pin code three times, the phone goes in lock mode, and ask you for the puk code.

If you lost it the only ways to recover the PUk code are either paying a phone shop (they will phone virgin), or calling virgin mobile customer service by yourself. They will ask your personal details, and retrieve the PUK code from database.

tell them you need your puk code ,they will ask u some details then give it to u
write it down as soon as u enter ur puk it will say enter new password do that and it will say repeat then it will work good as new
