I have a new computer that I am trying to hook my MS Wireless Laser Desktop 4000 to. It is not working. It worked on my old computer as well as my laptop but when I plug the USB in to the port it says USB Unrecognized. I took my computer back to the shop where I had it built to see if they could get it to work however they couldnt. What we did figure out is that it most likely has to do with the Nvidia Chipset on my computer. Every computer we tryed it on it worked right away however we tryed it on another computer with Nvidia chipset and it came up unknown device usb unrecognized just like on my computer. The computer shop put a call into the motherboard manufacturer, but they have not returned the call as of yet, any ideas? It is very frustrating! Thanks for Your Help!

Thanks for the info so far, hopefully we can get this issue resolved asap!
or you can manually set the irq setting for either nividia or your mouse manually did the techs explain this too you when you took it in
this is likely the case that the wireless l.d. is haveing conflict with nividia irq setting
