I need to connect my psc1315 printer to my new computer which is running Windows Vista. The loading disc I have only goes up to Windows XP.

I believe the psc 1315 driver may actually be a part of windows vista. Basically you plug the printer in and it should recognise it and give you the option to use the appropriate driver. If this is not the case, go to the hp website. www.hp.com. go to support and choose driver downloads. find the 1315 driver and download the vista version. Goodluck with it all.

Add Network Printer Applies to Windows XP. Even though the instructions are similar to installing a network printer on Windows Vista, there are a few extra tips that might be interesting.
Enable Printer and File sharing How to enable in Windows XP And Vista. If you want to share a printer on your network you must enable printer sharing. It is not hard to do but it will not work if it is not enabled.
Path to your network printer How to find the path \\server\printer. If Windows does not find your network printer automatically then you will need to know the path to your network printer.
Set Network printer permissions Set who can change printer settings in Windows XP and Vista. I personally like to let everyone on the network just print and not be able to change too many settings to do with the printer.

Network printer has problems printing - You do not have permission to use selected printer.

Olympus P440 Dose not work on Vista
The driver for the P-440 printer will work in Windows Vista. To install it you will need to run it in Windows compatibility mode XP service pack 2. Download the P-440 driver to your desktop from the olympusamerica.com website. Open the zip file, right click the mouse on the setup.exe file then left click on Properties. There will be a compatibility tab there. Select XP Service pack 2 and then click Ok. Connect the printer and as it goes through the found new hardware wizard direct to the folder location on your desktop for the files it needs to load the device driver.

You will have to use the New Dell 922 VISTA drivers and not the XP drivers in order for it to work with your Vista Loaded PC. The new drivers for the 922 under Vista are available for download at Dells website.
