So my Ps3 is turning on and it does the whole "PS3" welcome screen and the squiggly sparkle line shows up but it never really go to the screen where I log in to my account, therefore not allowing me to play Borderlands and I'm pretty sure that's blasphemy Sincerely Lvl31 Siren & Lvl32 Berserker

PS3 only show welcome screen and stuck in sparkle line when power up : That means hardware problems inside your console : Mostly are CPU overheat but actually you can't just cool it down by turn off a while. You need some killer methods to fix it. But do you know it's just waste your time and money if you send to somewhere repair - because the same problems will be back after then. The best way is to learn the repair techniques of yourself.
