Question about Audio Players & Recorders
My system is less than 6 months old and the CD player has already quit working. When I try to play CD's, the window keeps flashing "Reading". I contacted Jwin and they told me that the parts are still under warranty, but I have to pay for the labor and also the shipping charges. I can't use a CD cleaning disc because it won't play. Tried the "blowing out" stuff but it didn't help. Can you offer any other suggestions?
May be a defective laser. Have have fixed to many of these by cleaning the laser eye. You will have to disassemble it to get to the eye. Soft cloth with no water or chemicals, just wipe it off. Very little dust will cause this problem in any device that reads disc's.

You have a defective laser assembly, from the symptoms you describe. Get with the factory and get a new part installed...accordianman
