Question about Canon PowerShot SD110 / IXUS IIs Digital Camera
I have had my LCD screen go out in my small point and shoot as well, though i did not even bother with my company for the warranty was far expired.
You could do a couple things. You could buy an LCD screen off ebay, or anywhere you can find it relatively cheap. I have heard that these are fairly easy to replace yourself, though it is still a risk. If you do this, you must make sure it fits your camera exactly. And online "walk me through's" are everywhere about this kind of thing.
The other is to invest in a new camera. I mean, if this kind of thing happens again, you could almost buy a new camera.
Pressure is not the only thing that can damage an LCD screen, so always take care of it, and keep it in a case.
