Not sure but you can use your original install disc and if that doesn't owrk you can got to cnet downloads and see if there is a new driver download there for the device that is compatible with windows 7.
Hope my advice helps and thanks for voting/rating, etc...
1- make sure the webcam driver was install properly. Type devmgmt.msc at run. Look at the imaging device.
2- If its not install yet, just go to the site and download ur acer webcam then install.
3- If already configure, try uninstall then restart. Check whether usable or not. If cant, download new driver from the site , uninstall the old one and install with new one.
4- There got a lot of choice of webcam driver. better u download all and try one by one.
Or just let me know what kind of acer dat u use?
go to your device manager to see if your webcam is properly installed. if installed open webcam from my computer click webcam and click the settings you wanted.
I was trying it on my old laptop with XP service Pack 1 and it did not owrk, but when I tried it on a newly bought laptop with XP on it, it worked perfectly
Did you guys install the right driver? some of the acer models have more than one webcam driver because some models have diffrent webcams but all those drivers are posted under the same series of notebooks.
