Question about Refrigerators
I have a LG LRSC26941ST refrigerator bought one and half years ago. Recently the display panel started to display error message ER DH. the freezer stopped working and accumulates lots of ice on the insider panel.
I tried to unplug the power cord and re-plug. it works for several hours and then went to error again. I called repair shop and was told the defrost heater was defect and should be replaced. I ordered the defrost heater from LG through an authorized repair provider and replaced it by myself.
Now the freezer works and seems defrost heater works too. However, It displays error ER DH again. Unplug and re-plug, it display ER DH again after several hours. I checked the error code ER DH. it says the reason can be defrost heater, fuse, or unplugged connector(show the error after 4 hours). Since the defrost heater is a new one, I think the problem now is in the unplugged connector. I don't know where it is and how to fix it. Please help me figure it out. Thanks.
It the def t-stat, def. thermistor, or def. fuse whatever lg decides to call it this week that is causing your issue
