Kind of eerie that you are having the same problem I am, same turntable, almost at the same time! Actually I got the belt on but it keeps running up on the drive pulley, which makes the turntable turn way too fast.

Here's a video for basic installation which might help you, but it doesn't help my problem of how to make the belt stay where it is supposed to.

Headphone jack on pioneer djm-600 fallen through!

If it's fallen inside then either it's fixing nut has become unscrewed or the thread on the socket has collapsed, see here for a replacement :-

I need a belt for a fisher DAC-145 turntable

http://www.archive.org/details/Turntable_Belt_Installation

above is a generic video that applies to almost all belt driven turntables including yours that will show how to install the belt and a few other things. the website shown in the video lists your belt under the "find my player" button on the left side of that site. look for DAC-145A listing. your old belt or the belt path should measure about 30-31 inches or so.

Pl-600 needle question

Hi Jeff,
Sorry but I don't really have any advice on getting a needle for this turntable. I only know what I've worked on, and so far I've only worked on the belt. Looks like I'm going to have to work on the speed control, unfortunately, I'm not sure how that's going to work out.

Sorry I couldn't be more help, and good luck!

Table top belt

It looks like these cost a little less than $20 US, and are available at several websites and local specialty shops. One site that sells them is http://www.elexatelier.com/fisher.htm.
