Most likely it's a memory card error. Your memory card is either defective or corrupt. Try shooting video without the memory card in and see if you get any errors. Then put a different memory card in and see what happens. If after all that you don't get any errors than it is obviously your memory card that was corrupt.

HOW DO I FIX THE ACCESS DOOR ERROR CODE 3501?

The Kodak support site says:

To resolve this error, close the printer access door. The printer will not operate while the door/cover is open.

If the error continues even after you close the printer access door, power cycle the printer:
  1. Turn off the power (press the On/Off button on the printer).
  2. Unplug the printer power cord from the back of the printer.
  3. Wait approximately 30 seconds.
  4. Plug the printer power cord into the back of the printer.
  5. Turn on the power to the printer.
If the error continues, contact Kodak at:

Formatting problems

older mp3 players cannot handle bitrates higher than 128 and you should not be recording them with variable rate either. I recomend, deleteting the card and start new with a standard bit rate

Replace it, it is not cost wise to have it repaired.

Can't record DVD+RW and DVD+ Disks...PLUS

Firstly, you need to finalize the -R disk recorded by and in your unit before it will play back anywhere else.

Secondly, the DMR-ES10 does not support +RW, only -RW.

Finally, I have never heard of a +D. Do you mean +R? It is likely that you have a corrupt disk; change it.

Whats error code 3501

According to Kodak, that error just means the cover was open. I noticed when I print a diagnostic sheet that error shows up whenever I change the ink.

Kodak Z700

Hi,

Tentative solution:
I had the identical problem. I went as far as disassembling the camera ... not recommended.

Instead of fussing with the lens cover, I pressed on the lens assembly (gently), the lens retracted and the lens cover closed.

My camera works now. It will be my last Kodak.

Good Luck,
Mike

"lens error" on casio ex-z3

Sorry to say but a lens error actually is a problem that you cannot fix at home. When a lens error occurs, the motors inside that make the lens retract and protract were some how damaged, usually caused if the lens try coming out when you have it in your pocket or against a surface so it cant fully come out. You will have to send the camera in for service and you can do that by calling 1-800-706-2534, option 1.
