If you have updated your PS3 to version 3.50, it overwrites a third-party firmware the gigaware controller uses. Therefor, making it impossible to connect. This just happened to me not long ago, very dissapointed in it. There is no way to roll-back your PS3 version, unless you can get Sony to give you a roll-back code.

If you have updated your PS3 to version 3.50, then by doing this you have allowed Sony to overwrite Third-party firmware that the gigaware controllers use. Therefor by doing so, your gigaware controller will not work or connect. This happened to me recently. I had to turn it back in and get a controller made by Sony instead. I hope this helps.

I have a Gigaware black remote control no model number, serial number, or part number. I was just wondering if someone can help me figure out what it belongs to? Your help would be greatly appreciated

Hi Chris.

Gigaware makes all sorts of remote controls, including ones for gaming consoles, DVD players. Judging by the similarity in picture posted, it appears to be a model 13-140 for a compact CD system. See this posting on eBay to cross-reference the picture:
GIGAWARE 13 140 Compact CD System with Dock iPod iPhone Remote Control

Hoping that helped.
Cheers

My gigaware controller is not connecting, what do i do?

If your PS3 version is 3.5 or higher, it will not work. I just recently replied to a similar post about this problem. If you have upgraded to version 3.5 or higher, it overwrites third-party firmware that gigaware controllers use. Making the controller useless. I prefer to get controllers that are actually made by Sony themselves, not ones from gigaware etc.

Wireless gigaware controller wont connect to ps3

I'm guessing you haven't paired the controller to the system yet. If you look under section 04 in the little black book that came with the PS3 it tells you how to pair them so every time you turn the PS3 on it will pick up the signal of the sixaxis assigned to that slot. I had some of the same problems you did until I read up on it. If you have already done this I apologize but that's all I can think of.
hope this helps.

I CANT GET MY GIGAWARE WIRELESS CONTROLLER FOR PS3 TO WORK.

With Sony's 3.5 Firmware upgrade they blocked all third party hardware.Unless it is an actual Sony or Sony licensed product it will no longer work.According to the Sony website only Datel and Rocketfish hardware is currently licensed by Sony.

Gigaware remote for ps3 cant connect

I can not locate a Remote For PS3 By Gigaware now if its a controller Follow these steps

Connect to PS3
1. Turn on your console and plug the receiver into the first port on the console. The RX indicator on the receiver flashes.
2. Slide POWER ON/OFF to ON to turn on the controller. The controller’s POWER indicator lights and the 4 port indicators flash.
3. The controller connects with the receiver automatically after about 3 seconds. If successful, the RX indicator on the receiver lights.
4. Press the PS button to assign a controller number. The corresponding port indicator lights.
Manual Search
If you are unable to automatically connect, try manual adjustment.
1. Repeat steps 1 and 2 under “Connect to PS3.”
2. Press CONNECT on the receiver. The RX indicator flashes.
6
3. Press and hold SELECT and L3 (left analog stick) on the controller simultaneously for at least 3 seconds. When the RX indicator stays lit, release SELECT and L3.
4. Press the PS button to assign a controller number. The corresponding port indicator lights.
n Notes:
• Repeat “Connect to PS3“ or “Manual Search“ if the connection fails again.
• If you purchase a new receiver for the controller, but have previously been using it with the supplied receiver, you will have to follow connection steps again.
Reassigning a controller number
1. Press and hold the PS button for one second. The functional screen displays. Select “Controller Settings”, then “Reassign the controller.” Press X to confirm.
2. Use the D-pad to select the number that matches the controller’s port.
3. Press X again to confirm. The corresponding port indicator lights up.
7
Connect to PC
1. Plug the recevier into a PC’s USB port. The receiver’s RX indicator flashes.
2. Slide POWER ON/OFF to ON to turn on the controller. If connection is successful, the RX indicator on the receiver lights and the 4 port indicators on the controller turn off.
Test the controller
1. Open the control panel on your PC, and double-click “Game Controllers.” Then click “Properties“ and the testing screen appears.
2. Press the buttons of the controller. After testing, press OK to exit. You are now ready to play games.
Troubleshooting
If the controller stops working at any time, or will not connect to PS3 or PC, follow “Manual Search“ steps on pages 5-6.

Need driver for my Gigaware web cam

The entire installation cd here: http://d01.megashares.com/index.php?d01=6b830bb. It‘s an image file that you‘ll have to burn to a cd. You can use a program like Nero, Imgburn, Roxio, or any other program that deals with iso images. Burn the cd, install the driver, and then start using your webcam!

I can't seem to get my Gigaware VGA PC Camera to work

Hello, try going into your start menu on the bottom bar of you computer. From there click on your controle pannel, in your controle pannel you will find an icon that says ADD HARDWARE, open that and follow the prompts. This should hopefully work for you. I hope it helps.
