SOURCE: oster clippers blade

John! No Problem!
First put the bigger of the two blades witht the size/number facing down, put the cutter on top. (with the side with the flat side of the teeth facing down) Then put the tongue guide inside the tension spring, make sure the tension spring rail is on the tension rail and place them on top of the cutter. To see which bits these are go to: http://www.sheareaseltd.com/clipper-blade-sharpening/clipper-blades-the-parts
This picture whows the front and back, it differs slightly from your blade, but its same meat different gravy!

Hold all this together with your finger and thumb, flip it over and scre the whole lot together!

Can't find an instruction manual for my Conair Clippers HC318XD..Also i'm out of oil can I use any other kind of oil?

See your instruction manual here
http://www.conair.com/instruction_booklets/08PG11212_HC244GB_final.pdf
You'll need a PDF reader to visuaize it
go for it at
https://www.foxitsoftware.com/products/pdf-reader/

Hope you get your answer about the "other" kind of oil but let me tell you, I've used shavers but never any of them used oil of any type so can't really give you a proper answer. If you gadget uses some kind of oi, be sure thet instruction should mention this detail.

Where does the spring go on conair HC90RFD hair clippers

springs are used to apply pressure to the moving blade so the spring would go on the back of the blade under the screws

I have Conair dog clippers. They were working fine one minute and stopped the next. How can I repair them myself?

If you can pinpoint the cause of the problem, generally you can find replacement parts and do it yourself. Just be 100% sure you know exactly what you are doing to avoid further damage to the tool, or injury to yourself.

Clippers have suddenly stopped cutting and seem to pull at the hair

Generally removing the two screws.. on the blade foot (don't do this over the sink unless the drain is closed!).. and taking the blade apart.. cleaning the trimmers with a small brush.. apply grease in the blade groove.. reassemble

Usually it's best to put those two screws back just get them in lose.. not quite snug..set the blade upside down on a flat surface..so it pushes the blade back away from the cutting end..level..then tighten those screws while you are pushing or holding down on the clippers cutting edge against the flat surface/table. ... oil the blade with the proper oil or a light mineral oil.

This usually will get them back to cutting properly..the blade should be oiled prior to each use...about two to three drops right along the visible part..or a light spray also hair should be clean.. dirty hair does not cut well at all..and the clippers will tug and pull rather than cut cleanly.

Lastly..if they see a lot of use. might be blade replacement time..

Best of luck!

Where do I apply greeze to my clippers

I believe you are referring to oiling the blades unless you are talking about when you take it apart fully and put it back together. For general usage and maintenance:

Oiling of the blades should be carried out at regular intervals during the clipping application. Apply a small quantity of oil on the ends of the blades whilst the trimmer is running. Only use clipper oil or light machine oil of good quality.

Can't snap on blade for dog clippers

Not sure why they won't go back on unless the clip has collapsed in which case you would need to take a screwdriver and pop it back up. Andis and Osters are the best clippers out there however.
