There's only three ways this printer could not be working........
One way is .... that it does not have ink (sometimes kodak printers wont print unless both the black and color ink is above parr)
Second way is ..... it could be broken (which never happens to kodak printers, unless you hit them )
And the last way is .....the driver and the software is not installed ...therefore causing the printer not to print...... (See every printer has an installation cd...... On the cd is what they call a driver for the printer and also on the cd is a software that helps you printer/scan...etc)
Drivers for printers - Helps computer communicate with printer... (Drivers can be found at companies website under support and drivers or on installation cd)
software role for printers- Helps printers do they job....... (Example. Lets say your printer does work, does have ink and does print.......If you don't have the software installed on the computer then the printer wont be able to scan pic and docs....thats the reason for the software sometimes or i could be worst if you don't have the software)
If you don't have the installation cd than... Again drivers and softwares can be found at the companies website under drivers and support....
You can burn the software on a CD, you don't need the image. The old HP software and driver is likely causing the system to hang; remove all the HP software, remove the printer from the printer list, and then install the printer as a first time install.
It will install from a folder once you remove the old HP software
if you have the printer cd,first uninstall all printer software, inplug printer also. take cd out restart computer.when redone rebooting ,reinstall cd,after complete installation restart computer, leaving cd in drive. when computer is booted back up again, plug in printer and you should be fine,if not go to control panel and on the left hand coner of your screen it should say add printer, click on that and follow the wizards step through.good luck.hope i helped u
ok i hope this solves your problem... the AIOsoftwareNPI is found in HP all-in-one printer CD.. put your HP all in one CD installer into CD room. restart your computer, after the boot it will automatically install the AIOsoftwareNPI.. Godspeed.... make sure ul get it, if not smash-up your pc!!!
From what you describe the printer is not installed correctly.
I would try uninstalling everything associated with this device, unplugging it and then retry the installation process again. I don't know if the instructions are clear but you should not connect the USB cable to the printer until after the software is installed or when prompted by the software wizard.
