8x and 4x means that the video card is an AGP ( not apg) typo i guess.

If it was PCI or PCI Express, it would say so on the box. Look at *********** board, the video card slot will usually have AGP prined next to it. Also, your old video card may have a sticker on it that says its a BLAH BLAH card with SUCH AND SUCH Megabytes of ram and thats its a AGP or PCI, PCI EXPRESS.

Once you know for sure that the card will work, open her up, install and enjoy.

Need power button for v2 premier

In most cases you can't just get a button, you need to buy a new computer case. If you're handy, you just need to put the parts in the new case the same way they're in the old one.
To help, you can go to the manufactures web site and get a manual to help.
A new case can be purchased from Newegg.com for as little as $20

This Is My Processor Type x86 Family 15 Model 4 Stepping 4 GenuineIntel 2799 Mhz What Video Card Sofware That compatible for this processor..?

If your motherboard has an AGP expansion slot you can install any model AGP graphics card in your computer.
There are many AGP graphics cards on the market, and depending upon your requirements there is a card to suit eg. a high end APG card with 1Gb of RAM would suit graphics intensive video games.
I suggest you identify the make and model of your motherboard then see your friendly compiuter shop and see/ask what graphics card is available that suits your needs.

I have a standard hp desktop which world of warcraft can no longer run on it. ( inadequate memory per the patch update from WOW) I am going to purchase a used pavilion 523 desktp 80gb 512mb but was told...

System specifications for a Pavilion 523n desktop computer are;

1) Processor: AMD Athlon XP 2200+
1.8GigaHertz maximum operating frequency rate.
(1.8GHz)
266MegaHertz Front Side Bus
(266MHz FSB)

WoW minimum system requirements:
Processor,
Intel Pentium 4 at 1.3GHz, or AMD Athlon 1500+, at least.

Good to go.

2) Ram Memory:
512MB's of DDR Sdram ram memory.

WoW minimum system requirements:
512MB

Barely good to go IMHO.
You need 1GB, and 2GB will make it right.
The max is 2GB for the computer.

Graphics/Video Card:
WoW minimum system requirements indicate it doesn't take poddy for a graphics card to run it.
Maybe more for the Wrath of the Lich King, of course.

http://www.worldofwarcraft.com/info/faq/technology.html

The motherboard used is made by FIC.
First International Computer { Inc }
The Model Number is AM35
FIC AM35

The graphics (Video) expansion slot on the 523n's motherboard, is an AGP expansion slot.

It is an AGP 2X/4X slot.
Use a graphics card that is 4X or is 4X/8X compatible.

Examples,

4X http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=2974653&CatId=879

4X/8X

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102814

The difference is the technology that has evolved for the Accelerated Graphics Port through the years.
First there was 1X, then 2X, then 4X, finally 8X.
Graphics technology has moved on to the PCI Express expansion slot now.

The different AGP expansion slots are keyed differently from each other, for one.
For two they use different voltages.

An AGP 4X slot uses 1.5 Volts, whereas an AGP 8X slot uses .08 Volts.
A graphics (Video) card that is 4X/8X, will adjust when used in a AGP 4X slot.

(P.S., that Pavilion 523n uses a 200 Watt Power Supply. At least that's what the Maximum Wattage rating was, from the power supply manufacturer who sold it to HP.

Actual is more like 60 percent of what is stated.
120 Watts.
You really should go to 300 Watts, or 400 Watts.

(A computer ONLY uses the power it needs, and NO more.
Won't hurt the computer.
Also won't kill your electric bill when you're not gaming.
Gaming? Eh!)

It's an ATX (Form factor) power supply, but the case is shallow.
The ATX form factor relating to a Power Supply denotes the size, and shape of the power supply's case.
6 inches Long, 5.5 inches Wide, and 3-1/2 inches tall for ATX.

The one in the Pavilion 523n is 6 inches Wide, and 3-1/2 inches Tall, but it is only 4 inches Long.

Will not boot up.

1. check your video card it may not be seated in the pci slot provided on the mother board or it may have lost the driver set. This will require a re-install of the video card. If the video card is on the mother board this will require another video graphic card to be install via the pci slot or pci express graphics slot compatible with your PC.

Your existing CPU will not work with that motherboard. The AM2+/AM2 processor slot is for AMD processors only. For this motherboard, you will need one of the following processors: Phenom FX / Phenom / Athlon 64 FX / Athlon 64 X2

Which AGP card is Better??

It is a toss-up , six ppl love ati , six love nvidia. I personally am a gamer, i run 2 nvidia 8600's (256m each). This is a personal preference.
My advise to you is look at the system requirements of your games you have or want to buy and see what video card they are optimised for, buy that one , but go a little beyond the specifications needed for the game as you dont want to upgrade again soon.
also take note if your PC has a 2x , 4x , or 8x agp bus. this will determine how much of an 8x card you can use in your system. for example , if you have an 4x AGP slot on your computer and install a 8x card, the card will run at 4x.
other things to consider. clock speeds are diferent on the same card from different manufactures as they customize the software and some beef up the clock settings. so you could buy the same card from two different makers and they will operate differently as for as performance.
I have had a lot of luck with nvidias' albatross 6600 GT 128Meg agp 4x card. i replaced it with a newer ATI x1200 256meg agp 8x and it only ran about two thirds as fast as the nvidia card with twice the bandwitdh.
in conclusion, i switched back as the 6600gt was actually a pci-e card with an agp interface (first generation pci-e)
i am fond of nvidia for gaming , but also know you get what you pay for in video cards.
Hope this helps in the decisiond making.
Regards.

Distorted graphics

The 7600 gt can work on an agp 4x motherboard only in a 4x bus speed, if your just using the cd driver that comes with the video card try updating it by downloading the latest driver in www.nvidia.com, first uninstall the driver then restart the computer then install the latest driver you downloaded
