Could be a hardware failure - reset the player, run the recovery tool, let charge for 4 hours after running recovery. If the problem persists, get the player replaced.

Also, make sure you don't have a simpler problem where the player just goes to sleep every couple of minutes - pressing the center button will wake it back up. There is a menu setting in which you can change the sleep timer options.

Hello, I have recently whiped my computer and now my computer does not recognize that my sansa is pluged in. I cannot find a way for my computer to recognize that its plugged in so I cannot put music on my...

Go to http://www.sandisk.com/sandisk-support/driver-download-wizard

and in the drop-down boxes, choose your sansa musicplayer (I can't see what sansa you have since you didn't write it down).

When you have marked your player and pressed the button to continue, then you'll go to a downloadpage for the drivers for your sansa player.

Good luck.

When i turn my sansa fuze on it says "not enough space for music db please free 90mb"and turns back off..how am i able to get it to wrk again?

Hello,

When the player is rearranging playlists of the music database, it is possible that there's not enough memory left in the player to finish the task.
Connect the player with your computer to delete some files, at least 90 MB, off the Fuze to make it work again.
When not having a backup of the songs, save them onto the computer first.

Here's the support site for Sandisk Sansa Fuze:

My computer wont recognize my mp3

I know this is only part of the solution:
- turn off your sansa clip
- put the slide button on hold
- press the centered button while connecting the sansa clip to your pc
the sansa clip will now be visible as a removable disk under 'my computer' :-)

I don't yet know how to proceed from here on
