Here is your problem and how to fix it...
Look under your machine. Follow the shaft from your feed dog button to a bullet shaped pin that goes through a hole. It needs cleaning and oiling and freeing up. Its frozen from non-use and the oil is hard. Free this up, WD-40 or just a good dowsing with oil and tap it until it lets go. Just work it little by little. It will go.
