Make sure that your network isn't restricting wireless access by MAC address. If it is, you will need to enter the MAC address of your iphone into the correct place on your router's firewall.

the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of.(from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones)
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Goodluck!

I cant access internet it keeps telling me that it cant find server

Hi
Are you trying to connect via mobile broadband or a WiFi network?
If mobile, then you must be in an area with a reasonable reception and also connect via your service provider using the username and password that he will have given you if you have data inclusive tariff.
If WiFi network then you must have a username and password for each network hotspot, and possibly also the encryption key for the network.
If you go to "Settings" and then "Wireless and Networks" your phone will show all the hotspots and WiFi networks that are within its range at the time.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya
Cheers

Hi
Samsung phones and probably most other phones store all networks detected throughout their lives unless you select them and tell them to "Forget" particular connections. This applies even when the network settings don't match the settings of the network you are trying to connect to.
I would suggest that you "Forget" the connection you are trying to connect to. After a while the phone will detect the network and if you tap this network it will ask you for a password. Enter this and it should connect it the network without trouble.
Hope this is helpful, if so would you please register that with Fixya

My samsung star wifi can not connect to my router

1. Tap the "Menu" button from the home screen of your Samsung Star phone.

2. Tap "Wi-Fi" and select the "ON" option.

3. Select the Wi-Fi router you want to connect to from the list available Wi-Fi networks.

4. Enter the case-sensitive password to connect to a secured network. Your phone will only prompt you to enter a password if connecting to a secured network.

5. Wait while your phone automatically connects to the Wi-Fi router.
and enjoy your wi-fi connection.

My laptop refuses to connect to the internet. I entered the wrong password. I can't find a place to enter the right one.

depending on the software installed you should have an icon at the bottom right side of your taskbar it should have a computer with some wireless waves coming out of it run the cursor over it and it should say wireless connection and tell you if you are connected and what network you are connected to.Right click on this icon and a drop down script will appear.Click on repair wireless connection and see if that helps.If not click on the icon and try to view the networks available.Note if there is security on the network and what kind; this will require a password or ssid.If this is your network and you do not know the password.Open up a webpage 192.168.1.1 this is usually the router page also try 192.168.1.100 or 192.168.1.100 If you do bring up the page type in admin for the user name and the password both.Proceed to the wireless connection and see if upon entering the tab you can see the settings check to see if your password is there,you can ask it to show the characters.Other than that I do not know of any other practical way.

After browsing a lot of sites and experimenting with the settings finally I was able to configure my HTC P3400i with Vodafone Live support without any help from the Vodafone customer care (who were very bad and rude when I called them for getting the setting). The settings is working fine for me in Bangalore. Hope this helps all who bought this phone and struggling for getting the GPRS setting for HTC P3400i.

Below is the step by step instruction:
Step 1
Start->Settings->Connections->Tasks->Add a new modem connection:

Enter a name for the connection:
<give any name>

Select a modem:
Cellular Line(GPRS)

click next

Acess point name:
portalnmms

User name: <blank>
Password: <blank>
Domain:* <blank>

Go to Advanced->TCP/IP
select radio button "Use server-assigned IP address"

Go to Advanced->Servers
select radio buttion "Use server-assigned address"

Step 2
Start->Settings->Connections->Tasks->add proxy setting

Select "This network connects to the Internet"
Select "This network uses a proxy server to connect to the Internet"

Click "Advanced" button
Tap on HTTP
Server: 10.10.1.100 Port:9401

Username: <blank>
Password: <blank>
Domain: <blank>

Tap on WAP
Server: 10.10.1.100 Port:9401

Step3:
Start->Settings->Connections->Advanced
In "Select which networks are automatically used"-> click the Select Networks
Programs that automatically connect to the Internet should connect using:

Programs that automatically connect to a private network should connect using:

Cant connect wireless router to laptop

With cable attached type http://10.0.0.2 and enter the username admin and the password zoomadsl then go to basic setup and make sure your ISP username and password are listed under PPP then click start next to 'configure my network' save changes and write to flash. Make sure the DSL light is on solid (otherwise its an issue with your phone line/isp account).

Making a secure connection

Hi Alex26673,

Try a hard reset. You need a straightened paper clip. The Recessed reset button is to the right of the unit's power socket. Press and hold for 10 seconds and then release. Wait 5 minutes for it to finish rebooting and stabilise. Then try you admin login again.

Regards,

Spare head 2.
