No power to my schemer opal

Don't forget the that there's an on/off switch on the left hand side of the machine as well as the button on the front. You'd be surprised how many people this catches out.

My new gaggia accademia won't work. It shows error code 19. Can you help me?

Hi, Error 19 is not known by me. Sounds like something is not resetting or has failed. Try turning off the machine at the main power switch and unplug it from the wall for a few minuites. Remove the dreggs draw and drain tray and replace them before you plug it back in. This will allow the machine to reset. Dazza REPAIRER

I have a Miele CVA4070 Coffee System that won't power on. Can you tell me where the fuse is located for this machine?

there is a main power swich on the wall of the machine right over the ground coffee storage bin in the upper left corner of the machine. you have to open the stainless door, and look way up in the back left corner. tiny little rocker switch. try that, and then the touch panel should be on.

Unplugged the machine without turning it off and now it will not turn back on. Is there a reset button or a fuse that needs to be replaced. Thank you.

There is no user servicable fuses on that machine. There is a door switch on the top right behind the door. It will not turn on unless the door is fully closed. Please try it in a different receptacle and make sure you have power. If the outlet that it is plugged into is GFCI or AFCI protected, it may have tripped when you plugged it back in.

Hi, I descaled my machine yesterday - (it was working well until I did this.) I cleaned the solution out. Made sure the boiler was filled and then next day I pulled one shot - switched the button to steam....

Hi there,
The most common cause for a machine tripping your supply is a faulty element. Usually it is found after descaling as well as basically the scale which is covering the fault is removed and then the contact with water makes it short out. It could be so small that you can't even see it but it is a problem that i have encountered before in many cases. If you require spares or repairs and you are within the UK please get in touch at and i will be able to sort you out.
I have full access to Rancilio spares so not a problem to get you parts if you want to repair it yourself.

Kind Regards

How do you open up this machine? I need to get in and do a simple repair--replacing the steam wand. Unfortunately it's so recessed into the case you sommehow have to get the outer shell off to...

The top comes have take the clock out, undo a nut behind it and then you can pry the top off carefully. There are several metal pegs that engage holding clips that you are undoing by prying.
