Stuck in apple logo screen

ipod is stuck in apple logo screen, i hold it up to my ear and can hear hard drive making a perfect rhythm of a soft clicking sound.
i plug it into my computer w/ usb cable that came with it.
windows nor itunes will recognize ipod.
i have gone through several resets nothing new

Other than that contact your dealer or use the apple service assistant in the very bottom of that page to get service / repairs.
