WHEN TRYING TO TURN IT ON (EITHER REMOTE OR FRONT PANEL) IT CLICKS AND THEN A LIGHT BUZZING SOUND. NOTHING ELSE LIGHTS UP, INCLUDING POWER LIGHT. CAN'T GET TURN IT OFF (BUZZING SOUND) UNTIL DISCONNECTED.
Mine does this same thing and in the manual it says that this is an indication that the bulb is about to need replacement. I did this and still the same issue. The only small solution I have found is to disconnect power and try to turn it on until it finally does. I am searching for a REAL solution though.

I have a Panasonic with a defective audio output, and found a cheap alternative to an impossible to repair problem.
Mine still had audio if I connected headphones to it, but the speakers would get nothing. I found that a decent set of computer speakers (with sub woofer) worked great, and I could move the speakers to provide awesome stereo. Sub woofer is behind the TV.
I did a quick look and did not see an audio specific board available. Likely, it's part of the main board and not cheap to replace.
I hope you can use my fix. It's actually a better sound now than original.
