Question about Office Equipment & Supplies
We have a Ricoh 2035e multi function machine, and are wishing to scan documents to a shared folder. The connection to the printer is good, as everyone can print to it from all workstations.
However, when we try to scan to a folder, it cannot find the path. We have tried entering the path manually, and it still wont work. On a whim, we tried scanning to a test server we have here, and when we entered that path it worked fabulously. Suggestions anyone?

A quick fix for that would be to enter the fix IP adress instead of the host name, or to check if the host name on the SMB server is correct, and reboot the SMB server.
A good help is to do that from another PC to check if that works:
ping the IP adress try to connect to smb://IP_adress_or_hostname
If that works on the PC, there's no reason that it shouldn't work for the scan

Nothing in or jamming document feeder tray.
Change the setup to scan to a file, rather than email.
Try a different USB port.
Reinstall printer/scanner drivers and software.
