hello,
i am trying to get photos off of my phone and i have saved to the san disk micro SD and placed it in the micro SD adaptor to fit into my aspire, but nothing happens. the coputer "fan" turns on and it acts like it recognizes that the disk is there, but does not auto load and i can' not locate the file anywhere. can you help me??
Similar problem to Sandi76 with Acer Aspire 5920 SD reader.
It read the card the 1st time but when reinserted or another card it acknowledges the card is inserted but does not show in explorer, even with your tip.
Device manager has yellow triangle and reports 'Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware because a previous instance of the device driver is still in memory. (Code 38)'.
Only solution so far is to reboot laptop and you get to read one card. There must be a better way?
