Im trying to change my hard disk but cnat reboot my pc with my pc using cd rom my cd rom is toshiba sd-r2312

You need to go into your bios and set your boot device priority. It's set to boot to the hard disk before the CD. You need to change that so the PC will try to boot to the CD first.
To access the Bios, you will need to it the key you are prompted to hit "to enter setup" You should see this while the machine is booting.
Typically you tap either F2 or Del to get into the bios. Once you fine the Boot device priority and change it, you will need to hit F10 to save your changes and exit.
If this does not fix your problem, you may have a problem with your cd drive. Hope this helps.

I have an asus 1000he netbook and haveing boot problems what is the boot menu key?

ESC (Escape) on the keyboard should be the Boot Menu key, means you have to tap the ESC key once you press the power button to switch on the Machine and select the boot device from the options available.

If ESC key doesn't work, then try F2 or F8 or F12 (these are all the boot menu keys for Asus motherboards and Laptops).

Let me know if you need further help, but with more details about your problem.

Good Luck.
Thanks.

Windows xp safe mode stuck at mup.sys. Please help. Thanks.

If you are having a problem booting safemode then Windows is corrupted and will need to be repaired/re-installed. You can insert the windows xp disc and re-boot the computer. It should ask you to boot from cd-rom drive. If it does not you will need to change the boot sequence in the BIOS for the cd-rom to be the firsst boot device. Once you are able to boot the Windows cd you can try to repair the windows installation if the repair does not work you will need to format and re-install windows. hope that helps.

Hi...

The problem that you have are same in common, if your cd room will not boot you need to first boot your cd room, you just go to the BIOS to first boot your cd room,, when you turn on the computer you need to press the delete key (or F2) after that, use the arrow key to select, chose the boot priorities, then you need to first boot your cd room, after the cd room first boot, press F10 to save, the ok

Good luck !!!

You are seeing a failure to read your hard drive.
Now you need to troubleshoot that. Your hard drive could have gone bad or you can boot from a system disk (that would be a Windows system disk) and run chkdsk.

If you need help doing that, just ask. I'd be glad to help you further.
