Question about Philips 42PF9630A 42 in. Plasma Television
During a recent storm, we had a power outage and a leak near my TV. Residual water hit the top and I'm sure a little got into the vents. When the power came back, the TV would not turn on, the green power light would blink red. After unplugging from the surge protector and plugging back in, we did get a picture, but as the TV warmed up, it would go back to blinking red and we would lose the picture. I figured I just needed to leave the TV off and let it dry out. My husband got the super intelligent idea of putting the dehumidifier up on the console, right in front of the screen for hours to "dry it out". Well the TV is working without any problems, except this blue vertical line, right where the humidifier was sitting. Is there any way to fix this?? Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks!
I was not sure if the line was going from top to bottom or left to right. the X driver board is for left to right and the Y board is for top to bottom . The Y driver board is a common issue with these sets there is a Y main board and a upper and lower buffer board for the Y axis
