Question about Computers & Internet
I just installed my LG GSA-E60L DVD burner last night on a Dell with Windows XP. I also have a CD burner connected to the same computer. I haven't had success using the DVD burner. I know that it is hooked up correctly, because I was once able to view pictures on a CD that I put in the DVD burner. The DVD burner did not prompt me to install software. Is it supposed to? I tried to run the Auto install in the DVD burner, but nothing happened. Any suggestions?
Well, you can try taking the dvd burner out first and exchange places with the other burner. what i mean is may the dvd burner your primary master or slave. try it and post whats happens.

You definitely should call LG--your new gaget isn't working, and it is under warranty. Or try going to their website to see if they have any software upgrades--sounds like you have a bummer, and perhaps a reinstall from their website will do the trick.
