What make and model do you have, Most HP's can only make the disk one time. I am not sure about other brands. Order your disk through the mfg and make copies of it. Try going to start, search, and typle recovery, if that dont work type restore....

If it didnt work it is because you are not doing something right. Did it work????? you gotta use search and either type recovery or restore, its all about searching.... or the easy way is call e-machine they will send it to you!

the only option to solve this is to slave the hard disk onto another computer. Try to access the hard disk from another computer. If you succeed then back up all the data and format it. Re install your operating system and you will be good

Hi.

To install a different language - Multilingual User Interface (MUI) - you need to have Windows 7 Ultimate.

Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate
Type Anytime Upgrade in the Search programs and files box in the Start menu and click on the Windows Anytime Upgrade icon. From there, you can buy an Anytime Upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate. Then your can enter your Anytime Upgrade product key and perform a simple upgrade to Windows 7 Ultimate so you can install a different language.

If you are in Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, the UK, and the US you can use Anytime Upgrade. If not you will need to buy Windows 7 Ultimate, or buy Windows 7 in the language you need.

http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/products/windows-anytime-upgrade

Install Language Pack in Windows 7 Ultimate

1. Start -> All Programs --> Windows Update --> Optional Updates.
2. Open optional Updates and go to the section Windows 7 Language Packs.
3. Tick the Language Pack you want and hit OK
4. Proceed with Install Updates
5. Depiction of Windows 7 downloading a Language Pack
6. Automatic install initiated after download

How to change the Windows 7 Display Language:

1. Go to Start -> Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region / Change the display language
2. Switch the display language in the Choose a display language dropdown menu.
3. Click OK
4. Log off for the changes to take effect (This will affect only the user profile under which you are currently logged on).

The only other way to get the English language is to use the recovery partition or recovery disk to start over from scratch.

If there is anything else please post back..

Good luck.

Disk won't work

Did you put it in correctly? If the Wii is facing vertically, the side with print on it goes AWAY from the buttons. Anytime you put in a Wii disk in, the print side must go away from the buttons. Hope this helps :)

Yes you can replace it with a 1 terabyte if you want to. As long as you get the proper one for that computer you can install anytime HD that you want. Just make sure it is for a notebook

Need to set R3000 Compacq laptop to factory settings.

Compaq? Oh, then you are going to have a hard disk partition with the recovery files, so you don't need the disks. You have made it, that's great, because in case you cannot access the hard disk, you cannot initiate a recovery without ordering recovery CDs for your model from HP.

There are a number of ways to do it.

Try pressing F9 at startup (when the Compaq or HP logo shows up), and if it doesn't work, see the key for System Recovery at the bottom of the screen. It will recover, just follow the instructions on the screen.

Also, you can insert the first disk anytime, or boot from it when you start the PC up.

Or, you can use the Recovery Manager software in the PC that is pre-installed and it will help you to do a System Recovery from the files on your recovery partition.

Please rate this answer, I badly need it.

Need 25-character Vista key to buy backups from MS!

Hello John,

Unfortunately none of the PC manufacturers, with the exception of Toshiba and Dell, ship with recovery disks anymore. Instead, you have the option to create recovery disks after you purchase the computer. HP for example, used 3 DVD-R's to create recovery disks. And when you use those discs to recover your system it will revert it back to the way it was when you purchased it. So unfortauntely, the only way to get a set of recovery discs is to purchase them from HP. They cost about $30 on average. And unless you want to just purchase a new full copy of windows, purchasing the recovery discs are the only way to recover your system... legally.

To order HP's discs, just go to their support site at www.hp.com and search for your model number. It will then give you the instructions on how to order your specific discs.

Playstation 2 asks for a formating disc were do i find one?

Im guessing that your ps2 is not from america and all you have to do is buy a disk called SWAP MAGIC you can get it on ebay or just type "swap magic" in a search engine. It contains 2 disks 1 for CD games and 1 for DVD games, you dont have to modify your PS2 in any way. (apart from removing the front of the tray but you can put that back anytime)
