Hi.

Re: "I have a wireless lan usb adapter"....tring to install it on my old desktop running xp, the card supports xp, but when i try to install the driver and software i get this msg "please plug in usb multi channell audio device and install driver again"

It looks like you are using the wrong driver. The driver is looking for a USB audio adapter, while you tell me that you want to install a wireless network adapter.

Please provide as muck info as possible on the device you want to install (numbers printed on adapter and any brand name if present).
Please also give me the URL or the forum address that you used to download the driver file, so that I can verify. I am sure this driver is looking for the wrong device.

If you are trying to install an USB audio adapter, then start driver setup with device not connected.
If the device is a wireless network adapter, then you are installing the wrong driver.

Regards.

Ginko.

    Hi.

The driver that comes up entering "cvop-k74" is a driver for this wireless adapter, but it does not contain drivers for Vista or XP.

The driver is in three parts. You need to download all of them (I bet you did this already).

Once you open the compressed folder, you find drivers for two different devices. One is a USB audio adapter, the other is a wireless card. The wireless card drivers are only for Mac, Linux and Win CE (PDA and mobiles). No wirelesss card driver is contained in the folder.

Try contacting Chinavision, they are making an effort to provide good customer support directly from China (no phones), only chat and mail). Here contact page.
They answer mail within 24 hours.

I HAVE LOST MY INSTALLATION CD

The installation CD contains a driver of the adapter to run the device. If you lost the CD, you can let your computer find the driver online.

Connect your computer to the internet .Plug the USB device to your laptop. Go to device manager , look under network adapter , find Compact Wireless-G USB Network Adapter w/ SpeedBooster, right-click it, hit update driver, there will be a windows update pop-up page, so just hit search automatically.
