Question about RIM BlackBerry Curve 8310 Smartphone
I've been trying for over a week to connect my 8310 Curve to my computer without luck. It pairs with all my other devices and no problems- Motorola earpieces pair, connect and work fine, just having problems with computer connection. The BB8310 and computer pair with no problem, they just won't get to a point where the software says"connected". I've tried different dongles, different drivers, every setting combination I could find - Still, they're just "paired" but no "connection"within the Media Manager. Yes, Bluetooth is in discover mode, unique passcodes, etc all seem to work. BB and computer have repeatedly been paired and unpaired and paired again, dongles changed, drivers changed, still nothing seems to work. Both devices say they are paired and BB Desktop Manager and Roxio Media Manager still say not connected. What am I missing?
I was able to connect in safemode and complete the restore of my data that was backed up from my old BB and everything worked just fine. Safemode is the only solution I found that worked. No one at Rogers (provider) was able to help, so much for support.
