Emachine T3304 comes blue screen, windows would not turn on

Mamum23 if you install windows xp pro and the problem persist it could be a few reason like: 1. Have a hardware that is interfering with the boot (printer, external HD, etc) 2. Could be the hard drive that is having problems in a few sectors (blocks) and you may need a new HD. 3. Could be the modemboard slots but that could be really rare. If I was you I made the troubleshoot 1 and then 2.

Hi there, please restart your laptop when its booting press F8 key . You will find few option asking for selection. Select that by using up/down arrow key. Select " Last know good configuration" & press Enter. Next page asking for selecting operating system, for example: windows vista or Windows XP etc. Just select the operating system & press Enter again. ( Hope your laptop showing only one operating system ). Your laptop will start normally. After the if you seen the screen dark then press FN+Right arrow in key board(>). When you press FN + ( < ) or ( >) key that's time its working for brightness controlling for screen. Now if all well then fine other wise please let me know .
Another suggestion is run your Acer driver DVD for installing Display drivers. When finish restart your laptop and watch whats going. If no success then format the Operating system & reinstall again.
After these two things if the same things happened then straight forward format your OS and install it again. Because your OS corrupted by Virus.

Thanks & waiting for your feedback

Boot into safe mode by tapping the F8 key on startup, once you're in safe mode, run the system restore tool (usually in start -> program files -> accessories -> system tools -> system restore) to a few days earlier and restore. After that, install an Anti-virus application, such as AVG Anti-Virus, and scan your computer to remove the problems.

Hope this help!

System Service Exception Error (Blue Screen) - Acer AX1200

If you can reboot to Safe Mode and select "Last Known Good Configuration" it will be best but if you can't then you have to completely shut- down and reboot with your Restore or Windows CD and select the options to do a "Repair"

Unwanted down loads

if you have an anti virus programme installed, start your pc in safe mode (F8 while booting up) and then run your anti virus and anti spyware programme and also check your temp folder for suspicious folders dated arond the time you downloaded, the only free good anti virus programme is AVG 8 free if you don't have one.

VIrus Effected in all drives.

If this a genuine antivirus programme, then when you start the notebook, keep pressing F8, this will load up windows in safe mode and not allow any viruses or trojans to run.

When the options appear on screen, choose start windows with VGA mode by highlighting it then press enter, you may be asked the operating system, just choose it as it's shown.

A load of driver files then run on the screen, then it tells you that your in safe mode and to continue.

You will then see your account and an administrators account, click this then your desktop will load, although the icons will be larger, then run you anti virus programme.

If this is a free antivirus programme off the net then you may well have actually installed a virus by doing so, i would only recommend using AVG Free version 8, as this is genuine.

you can get it here if required
