N Card for Nintendo DS

Hello, I bought a Nintendo plus multi-game bundle from Asia. The bundle came with an N-CARD, which needs an exe file transferred to it to enable the games to be played. I have downloaded the exe file to my computer but I haven't managed to successfully transfer the exe file to the N Card. I have tried using the usb cable (supplied as part of the bundle). Do I need to buy another piece of hardware to transfer the file (USB Adapter for GBA slot)? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Apparently the games should have already been on the card when we received it. xedcom : I don't a a linker but that would've worked! I have sent the card back now, so thanks for all your replies.

N-Card is not a Nintendo approved hardware as many other flashcarts enabling you to use extra features in your NDS.

Be sure to have the N-Card (in slot1), The Linker (in slot2) and the USB provided cable attached to your NDS (ofcourse turn it on). Your card should appear in your computer as a new device when you plug it to the usb port so after that you should be able to access the internal card memory to copy, paste, delete, etc. But dont delete any unknown file as the card need system files to run in your NDS.

You also can ask for help in the N-Card website, forum or find it in internet.

In the case the linker is an external USB attachment where you insert the card as i can suppose, instead a slot2 linker then it is almost the same as a camera flash memory reader so you need to plug the NCard to the reader, plug the reader to the PC USB port and the PC must recognize it as a new device enabling you to access the files in the NCard memory.

If not working properlly then you might need drivers for the NCard reader. Maybe the bundle included a CD.

Sorry you returned your card. These devices are a bit tricky at the beginning so it is good to have a guide or product support from a responsible seller.

I don't see any support on Nintendos website for an N-Card. It might be a product that isn't used in the United States.

You should contact Nintendo directly by phone to see if you can get support on it.

I lose my nintendo micro sd card and all of my nds games were there. I bought a new micro sd card for my nintendo ds, and downloaded new games. When I tried to play it, the nintendo says: "No...

First before you can use the memory card on your DS lite you have to first use the DS lite to format the memory card before putting games this ensures that the game would recognise whatever games you then put on the memory card.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

I bought a Micro SD Card and an R4-III Upgrade SDHC. But I can't get it to work!!! What files/folers do I actually need for my Nintendo DS Lite?

Go to www.r4ds.com download & unzip the kernel. This will create a folder with the operating system.Copy these files to the root of the SD card (There should be 2 files & 2 folders) After this, copy the .nds files also onto the root of the SD card, and the games should be visible & playable when you turn on the DS
NOTE: this will not work for the Nintendo DSi

Unable to read sd card

Hi grecko, Hope this helps, I've just bought a 4gb memory card for my daughter's ds so she can fit 58-60 games instead of 28 on a 2gb memory card and have downloaded and put a file onto the memory card before loading games onto it.

Supercard DS one have a site where you can download the files you need and it gives help. Guess it's the same if using an R4 supercard too but I bought an R4 card for partner preloaded with software.

Hi Patt

Yes there is such a thing, they are usually listed under Fire Link16Gbit, R4 Ncard etc, you can easily find them on ebay or my personal favourite Gadget Asia, here's the web site

Deleting files

That's probably not a legitimate game card. probably a hacked card with uploaded roms. even if it were official, it's highly unlikely that it would work without problems. This means that the card was filled to the brim so that there's not enough space for game-saves, so if you've saved anything, it's already used up whatever space was left. So the only good way to fix it is to buy a DS card reader for your PC then manage the files from your computer. this costs more money, so i'd just give up and buy games the way you're supposed to.

Nintendo ds games

you need to go into the system itself and delete files from the DS itself. The DS has the capability to save files. when the game starts up, go into systems and you should be able to find where the files are and start to delete some.
