Question about Frigidaire GLEQ2152ES Electric Dryer

Error code E9E

I have a front load Frigidaire dryer GLEQ2152ES that displays an error code of E9E after it's been drying for about a minute. I called the manufacturer & they were unable to tell me what the code signifies & referred me to an appliance repair shop in my area. It would help to know exactly what repairs my dryer might need before I call the shop.

Same problem. Intermittant, every few weeks. Various times during cycle from just after start to near end. Pressing pause/cancel to end cycle clears error. Restart and new cycle finishes normally. No other problems with dryer. Looking for suggestions before replacing control board @ ~150.00

Aside - matching washer had bizzare cycle errors right after install. Service said is was the control board. Lowes replaced the washer. No problems with it since then.

I have the same problem. The dry cycle will start and suddenly stop with an error code of E9E along with 9 beeps. This just started yesterday and has been ongoing with every load since. Once the code is cleared the cycle will complete about half the time. The other half it repeats the error. Very frustrating since we had problems with the matching washer when we first bought the set.

ngfam1 here for you!
I am happy to be of assistance!

This is an electronic problem and must be replaced by factory service!
If it happened from th beginning call factory service right away, it's under warranty, you do not pay for it!!!!!!!!
There is no other choice!
If the dryer was 10 years old I would recommend to trow it out and not spend a dime on it! Are you ready to buy a new machine??
If not let service fix it and get back to having clean clothes!

Here is the service company I refer my appliance customers too!
A&E Factory Service
A Nation Wide Company. / Available 24 / 7 for arranging appointments! In the USA.
1(800) 905-9505

If this dryer is 10 years old or more do not spend any money on it!
The new ones are much more efficient! If you have to replace it buy a Speed Queen , it will do 8 loads a week for 25 years!
It's the last washer and dryer I will ever buy!!!! And less expensive than a top of the line unit!

Good luck!
You will be fine now!

Thank You
Bless you,ngfam1

E9E stands for low voltage and/or intermittent power. At least that's what the "training" manual said.

However, my dryer was overheating to the point of the back being too hot to touch. The service rep with Best Buy told me the error message made no sense. Computers aren't so great. My dryers only three years old. My previous "analog" dryer ran forever.

Error code AD error code DN

it means auto dry it will check the temp of the clothes so if they dryer quicker then 40-45 minutes it will shut off earlier instead of running the full 40-45 minutes. In the manual it says AD is the adjusting time according to moisture level for those who keep drying but display this it is normal for those who display and size to dry is not normal if you have any further questions message me back and please remember to rank how this opinion has helped it allows me to help others in similar situations Thanks Rick

Dryer front load model # GLG22152ESO, Flashes Error Code E9E

Ok, i would also pull the blower assembly and, check it for clog's as well. clean out the entire exhaust hose as well. if this doesn't stop the shut down, you will need to replace the hi limit thermostat and (dryness)sensor(if equipped) as well.

I get an E9E fault code on my two year old Frigidaire front loading dryer.

The error code E9E indicates that low voltage is being detected at the control board of the dryer.

This could be caused by the following factors:

* The electrical power supply to the dryer is bad. Check the dryer outlet for proper voltage (120 volts AC).

* Unplug the dryer and check the wiring of the dryer outlet plug. A loose wire on the terminal block could cause this problem.

* If you are able to safely access the control board in the console, check the red wire that connects to the heater relay on the board.

(NOTE: The dryer should always be unplugged when accessing internal components.)
A loose wire or burned connection in this area could result in this error code.

* A failed control board could cause this problem.
