LG model 26LCF7D 2 1/2 years old tv when turning on it takes about 10-20 min for the picture to come up and sometimes woudl loose tone now after two week the whole tv doesnt turn on at all the screan comes on with verical lines in colour but no picture or sound please help how to fix. thanks

itseems you have a loose connection on sound section...

Defective LED back lights strips, or damaged EEPROM on main board. I will try a main board first, if you do nor have a TV LED strip tester.

It is a common problem for the Samsung DLP HDTV, the problem is that the color wheel is going to go bad. The only way to fix it is to replace the defective color wheel.

Did you get yours fixed? I have the same model LG with the same problem.

Our same TV is doing the same thing! Think solution is NOT to buy LG products if it has built in redundancy software. What a waste of money!!

power supply that drives the screen has bad capacitors in it.

These tv does have loose of audio problems im concern about looseing picture . Try unplugging tv for 5 minutes it will reset tv very common fix for audio. Tv that are less then a year old are sometimes covered under new warr call manufacture on that.
There is a microprocessor on these that lockup and when you unplug it. it resets it.

I have a tv shop and have helped customers get exchanges under a year especially if you complain

the tv turns on fine, but after 5 - 30 min or so, "sometimes MORE " the picture all of a sudden go's black. Sound is ok it is 100% loose contact problem. 1 please check for any connector or print for loose. 2 in signal processor ic there might be loose. remember there is no component failure.
